Start here ​

Follow the same five-step route every new virt goes through: create a draft, tune the rules, upload knowledge, wire the channels, then run the launch checklist. Each card below opens the exact doc needed for the step.

Onboarding path ​

Step 1. Quick Start ​

• Walk through the Quick Start guide to create a baseline virt.
• Set a launch goal such as "triage the first 25 site chats daily".
• Invite 3-5 testers who can chat with the virt immediately after each edit.

Step 2. Settings ​

• Visit Settings and keep instructions short, explicit, and driven by outcomes.
• Limit randomness by setting temperature to 0.3-0.5 until the virt reaches the target accuracy.
• Use the chat profile card to define greetings, working hours, and escalation contacts.

Step 3. Knowledge ​

• Upload the most up to date playbooks and FAQs in Knowledge.
• Split huge PDFs into narrow topics so indexing is fast and search stays relevant.
• Mark each file as Ready and attach it to the virt tile before testing conversations.

Step 4. Channels ​

• Open Channels and enable only the connectors you actually plan to monitor.
• Paste fresh tokens and confirm Worken shows a green status right after saving.
• Trigger a test conversation in every channel and watch the analytics stream for errors.

Step 5. Launch review ​

• Follow the pre-launch checklist and fix anything marked red.
• Assign one owner who reviews the first 100 dialogs, tags improvements, and shares them with the team.
• Clone the configuration into a template once the virt hits your success metric.

Readiness questions ​

1. Does the team agree on the launch metric and rollback plan.
2. Are tone, escalation rules, and tool limits documented inside the settings card.
3. Are knowledge files marked Ready and attached to the virt in use.
4. Did every enabled channel return a successful test conversation today.
5. Who is on duty for the first day after launch.
