Issue a bot token via BotFather
In Telegram open @BotFather, run /newbot, follow the prompts, and save the generated token. Double check the username ends with bot so customers can find it through search.
Integration with Telegram
The Telegram channel routes conversations from your official bot to Worken so a virt can answer customers right inside the messenger. All you need is a token from BotFather and basic access to the Worken workspace.
Preconditions
- Telegram account with access to @BotFather
- Virt already created inside Worken
- Editor permissions in the workspace plus a greeting tailored for Telegram users

Connect the token in Worken
Go to Integrations → Telegram, paste the token, pick the virt, and click Connect. After the status switches to Connected, verify that the channel appears inside the virt card and inherits the right instruction.

Test the flow from a real chat
Search for the bot by username, send /start, and ask a typical question. Ensure the virt answers with the right tone and escalates to workens only when needed. Share the bot link with the team once you are satisfied with the responses.
WARNING
Treat the token like a password. If it leaks, anyone can control the bot. Run /revoke in BotFather to invalidate compromised tokens and immediately update Worken with the new value.
